Entering into our fourth official summer move out season, our team is proud of how much we have been able to grow. Nick Handy, our founder and CEO, started his journey in the storage business at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT as a sophomore. As an athlete at Sacred Heart, he noticed all of his fellow student-athletes, who were recruited from all parts of the U.S. and out of the country, never had a proper solution when it came to the issue of moving out their items at the end of the semester. With so many students traveling out of state, it was the perfect opportunity to offer his teammates and peers a stress-free service that has now become Handyman University Storage.

Now in 2024, Handyman University Storage will be operating as the Conneticut branch of College Storage, the most notable name and innovation drivers in the student storage industry. College Storage is based out of Rhode Island and were the first ever company to offer summer storage students on any college campus, starting at Brown University in 2005. We are confident that this strategic partnership with College Storage will provide the best customer experience possbile for our customers. Check out our site here.

The task of moving in and out of your dorm, apartment, or house, is always stressful on top of the butterflies of arriving back on campus or either finishing up your last exams.
